Star of the East - Christmas in Stillwater with Steven C & Friends

The Music Department of the Church of St. Michael and St. Mary is pleased to present Steven C and Friends in concert at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 29. Celebrate Christmas with Steven C, an accomplished pianist, composer and recording artist whose music streams to millions of listeners worldwide. Steven C’s annual Christmas concert tradition began at the Cathedral of St. Paul back in 2015, and he and his wife Jillian Anderson are thrilled to bring this show to the St. Croix Valley where they now call home. We welcome Steven and Jill Anderson (nee Gubash) to our music department. Jill’s beautiful and prayerful singing have been a part of our parishes for many years. She has cantored off and on and provided music for Our Divine Mercy Holy Hour. Steven has recently joined the ranks as well. This free concert will also feature Grammy Award-winning guitarist Pat Donohue (of Prairie Home Companion fame), vocalists Jack Cassidy, Kathryn Budzien and Jillian Anderson, and some special guests from the St. Michael’s Music Department! The concert is free and open to the public.
